Our Vision

Talbott STEAM Innovation School (TSIS) is a respectful, safe, and inclusive community where students remain on-task, embrace acceptance, and take responsibility for their learning and actions. Our team is guided by data to support the growth and achievement of all learners. We strive to create an environment where students, families, and educators work together to empower each student to reach their full potential and find success.

STEAM Focus

STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Through this program students have the freedom to think critically, creatively, and innovatively, as well as opportunities to fail and try again in safe environments. 

Students will:

  • receive instruction that is motivating, engaging, and real-world.
  • integrate and apply meaningful and important mathematics and science content.
  • be engaged in teaching methods which are inquiry-based and student-centered.
  • engage in solving engineering challenges using an engineering design process.
  • learn how to work as a team and build communication skills.
